In the process of expanding by adding another pharmacy to your group? Is your pharmacy packing up and getting ready for a move to a new location that’s a better fit for your team? Well, as part of your team, we can help you with that process. Check out this quick guide for what to do during your change of address to make sure your drug deliveries from PharmSaver are uninterrupted.
-
Start the process of updating your state pharmacy license, DEA, and NPI as soon as possible. It will take time for these things to be completed.
-
If you already have a GLN you’ll need to do an address update. If you registered it yourself through GS1, log in to your account through the GS1 Data Hub and update your address information in the My Location tab. If your primary wholesaler provided your GLN to you make sure that they update your GLN address when you provide them with your new address information.
-
Log into your PharmSaver account and click Documents in the Activity Center. Download and complete a new credit application. Some wholesalers will require a new one for a change of address, but all will require it for new ownership, and it’s best to have it in hand to avoid delays. If you have any questions about the credit app please give us a call. We’re happy to walk you through it.
-
Email PharmSaver all of your updated information. You should include your new address, new phone numbers, completed credit app, and new documents, at info@pharmsaver.net. We will make sure all of the wholesalers you are contracted with receive this information. So please be sure to start that process as soon as possible as well.
-
And for new ownership, it is important that we are made aware of the owner's name, the new pharmacy name, and the DBA if there is one. You will also need to send us your POA.
