Sig Code Short-Cut

Ever wonder how to make those tiny little symbols in sig codes for half or quarter? For those of us that have been around for a while this might be an old trick that you either forgot about or forgot to share. For those of you who never knew, there are quick keyboard shortcuts that give you extra character spaces you need for those super long sigs you can’t manage to fit on the label. Check out this list.

No Short Cycle

So you’re a Long Term Care Pharmacy and you are trying to order Methylprednisolone 4mg tabs, but you have to weed through all of the short cycle blister packs in order to get to the larger stock bottles. You could try typing the quantity into the search, but then you eliminate any other quantity option right? 

Well you don’t have to anymore. Our newest enhancement is a “No Short Cycle” check box on the order screen. This selection will eliminate things like Medrol dose packs, Z-paks, Sterapred dose packs, etc. This update allows you to zero in on the actual products you are looking for. To get started you'll need to make sure your account is set up as a Long Term Care Pharmacy. Click on  My Account,  then select Manage Account. On the left side of the screen under your address you will see Pharmacy Type. Once you've made your selection don't forget to scroll to the bottom of the screen and hit save. Happy ordering!
