Wholesaler Returns Made Simple

At PharmSaver, we understand that returns are sometimes unavoidable. Packages get damaged, incorrect shipments and such. That's why we're putting the spotlight on how to navigate these unfortunate events.

When you need to return an item ordered through PharmSaver, keep in mind the return must be processed through the wholesaler that shipped the product. Each wholesaler has its own policy, which you can easily view by logging into PharmSaver as a pharmacy user. Look under "Documents" in the Activity Center on the left-hand side of the page.

Most wholesalers only accept returns within a specific time window after purchase, and certain items like refrigerated, expired, short-dated, or marked as "non-returnable" typically don't qualify. A Return Authorization Number is also required for all returns. Restocking fees? Some wholesalers apply them, others don't, and a few handle it on a case-by-case basis. Your best bet is to contact the wholesaler directly to confirm return eligibility and fees.

Wondering how to find that contact info? Check the packaging or the packing slip included in your shipment. If it's not there, just log in to PharmSaver, go to "My Account” in the upper-right corner, and click "Manage Wholesalers". You'll find phone numbers, addresses, shipping notes, and more.

Lastly, be sure your return shipment matches the packing slip, especially the lot numbers. Wholesalers often verify those before issuing credit. Need assistance? We're happy to help. Call us Monday through Friday, 9am to 6pm Eastern, and we'll walk you through it.

But here's the catch: despite their celebrity status, GLP‑1s don't line the pockets of pharmacies or wholesalers. Since they're brand-only and locked into tight contractual margins, these drugs generate plenty of revenue but yield little downstream profit.
